What is Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI)?
The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) symbol is the mark of a real estate professional that has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong skills-based educational foundation. The GRI is one of the best investments a real estate professional can make in their business and future success.
How many hours are required?
The GRI requires 63 hours to graduate. 48 hours are from our core curriculum, and 15 hours are electives chosen from our approved list.
How long does it take to complete?
AAR will offer every course at least once a year so you can complete within one year. You have up to 2 years from your first course to complete your GRI. Note, due to COVID-19, we will extend this time period for one year to anyone who started their program in 2020.
Which classes should I take?
You will need to take all 11 GRI core credits for a total of 48 hours in addition to 15 hours of elective credit.
Can I take courses if I already have my designation?
Yes, and at a discount! GRI designees may attend any session for 20% off the listed price. Contact AAR for more information.
Can I receive CE credits for these courses?
There are two courses eligible for CE credit, Contracts and Avoiding Setbacks, Fines & Lawsuits.
What if I have already taken GRI courses under the previous program?
